Updating the Critical Factor
|
Loretta will be speaking about
scientific evidence and theories that self-consciousness
is a newly evolved capacity of the mind. She will show
how the inner voice relates to the critical factor and
present arguments that it is a function of the
subconscious mind. This will tie in with an interesting
theory that the early Greeks believed the inner voice to
be the voice of the gods.
The importance of the inner voice is that it initiates
powerful feedback loops between the two hemispheres and
between the mind and body. Based on this understanding,
Loretta will explore how we can create and utilize
better scripts and techniques for bypassing this
“critical factor.”
 Loretta
Rippee
has been interested in the neuroscience of hypnotism
long before she received training from Gil Boyne at the
Hypnotism Training Institute in 1995. She will be
drawing from both historical and more recent research in
this area as well as her own experiences as a consulting
hypnotist.
